Welcome to our website. We hope that it will give you a feel for Highgate and that you will want to come and visit us.

The Highgate Foundation is three schools in one: the Pre-Preparatory School (ages 3 – 7) and the Junior School (ages 7 – 11), each with its own Principal, and the Senior School (ages 11 – 18). Girls and boys in roughly equal numbers are admitted at 3+, 7+, 11+, 13+ and 16+ from a diverse range of backgrounds and schools, both state and independent, throughout North London. We provide means-tested bursaries and scholarships (both academic and musical) at 11+, 13+ and 16+.

Each school within the Foundation has its own character but a common purpose and identity. Whenever a pupil arrives, we hope that the key features of the Highgate experience remain the same for her or him: the sense of community, love of learning and independent growth which we believe characterise the Highgate way.
