On Thursday 9th February pupils in Year 4 went for a trip to St Albans. To link in with their History topic of Roman Britain, children visited the Verulamium Museum which is a fantastic place to find out about everyday Roman life. It's built on the site of one of the largest Roman settlements in Britain, so as well as seeing a museum packed with Roman objects, children explored the remains of the Roman town and took part in education sessions run by the museum staff. The pupils also explored the hypocaust building in the park.  AW
