Year 4 Celtic Harmony Camp Trip
A STONE AGE DAY
Year 4 pupils took their first trip of the academic year to Hertfordshire, for a Stone Age day. To link in with their History topic of the Stone Age to the Bronze Age, children travelled to the Celtic Harmony Camp in Brickendon, near Hertford where there is a purpose-built woodland encampment. They spent the day as a Neolithic hunter and gatherer, learning how to get food, build shelters, take part in a trading activity and create cave art. Celtic Harmony has been awarded a ‘Learning Outside the Classroom’ Quality Badge status.
