5 Year Anniversary for the Junior Strings Project
OUR YOUNG STRING PLAYERS DEMONSTRATED THE SKILLS THEY HAVE LEARNED THROUGHOUT THE MICHAELMAS TERM
Pupils in Year 3 all took part in a week of "Open Lessons" for Junior Strings Project. JSP is now in its fifth year and still going strong! To an incredibly supportive audience of parents and carers, the pupils demonstrated the skills that they have learned throughout the Michaelmas term, including good aural awareness, intonation and pizzicato. With most children having just one term of lessons under their belts, it was amazing to see how quickly they have taken to their chosen stringed instruments. The performance culminated with an encore of "Marching Men" and the children all received rapturous applause from their audience.
