Bilingual Day

It is now a tradition for Year 6 pupils to spend a day in a bilingual environment on the premises of the school by joining activities lead by students from the French Institute.

A fantastic atmosphere was created by the enthusiastic collaboration of pupils and their ‘tutors’; enjoying activities such as: interactive workshop based on ‘Weather, Transportation and Environment’, impromptu scenarios at the ad hoc French café serving croissants and other typically French culinary delights as well as some DT project with more hands-on activities such as building boats and floating them in the pond.

Thanks to Mrs Hawkins and Owen Jones for their efforts in promoting foreign language studies in an informal setting.  VN
