Bring and Swap
The Junior School playground turned into a display of vibrant and diverse fashion paraphernalia, with the occasional catwalk demo, as the afternoon progressed and pupils in Years 3-6 swapped items of clothing. Whilst the most-wanted items changed hands in a matter of seconds, the idea of recycling resonated in the back of everyone’s mind for a long time afterwards.

The impromptu fashion show on the day sparked a lot of interest with all concerned to the point of having to squeeze another ‘green’ show into our whole school assembly at the end of the week.
The event – alongside cycling or walking to school on the day – was the culmination of ‘green’ events organised by Mrs Robertson; duly and keenly followed by all pupils. VN
