Bronze Expedition
On Sunday 10 October, 40 year 10 pupils set off on their assessed bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition. The six groups were dropped off in different locations in the South Downs and had to walk unaided some 25 kilometres over two days. The terrain was hilly, and the pupils had to put their navigation skills to the test. All completed the walk successfully, despite some groups getting lost and walking considerably more than 25 kilometres! We were blessed with fantastic weather and beautiful scenery. Many thanks to all the staff who helped out, and to Mr Plaistowe for his great photos! JAS
