Christmas Play
Pupils in Year 4 put on a fabulous seasonal show to round off the Michaelmas Term.

The two individual performances - based on the traditional fable of Hansel and Gretel and The Night Before Christmas – were intertwined into a magical Christmas tale; a production first of its kind in the Junior School. The primary purpose of such an arrangement was to broaden the acting horizon for our budding performers, as well as creating a more homely atmosphere with a smaller but equally ambitious stage, props and costumes.

The children embraced this year’s changes with gusto and enthusiasm and acted, danced and sang with unparalleled musicality. The audience of parents, friends and teaching staff welcomed the uplifting experience and joined in the festive celebrations in between two acts.
