Additionally, he played 19 One day Internationals, including all games in the World Cup in 2007. He is a leading member of the Leicestershire side which has reached the finals day of the Twenty:20 Cup each year since its inception in 2003, including victories in 2004 and 2006. The team was known for its innovative and thinking approach to this form of the game. He also played Twenty:20 for Delhi Giants in the Indian Cricket League in 2008. Paul has played 335 First Class matches, 401 one day matches and 60 Twenty:20s. He has scored over 22,000 runs, including 21 centuries and 104 fifties, with a top score of 173*. Additionally, he has made 1350 catches and 183 stumpings.

The course covered fielding, wicket keeping (Paul’s specialist position), batting and bowling. Staff were put through their paces taking part in numerous drills and practices, which were both innovative and designed to maximise the potential of our cricketers. Paul demonstrated great insight, and passed on excellent information which will definitely benefit our teams in the Cricket season ahead.  CLMH
