Enrichment Day
On Tuesday 24 November, the Junior School surpassed the success of last year’s Enrichment Day, with the intention of establishing and further nurturing the tradition of such events. The aim of the day was to push the academic curriculum beyond its limits and to enhance children’s learning in a more informal way.

The multitude of events, fostering creativity and enquiry-based learning, included Poetry performances, Calligraphy and illuminated writing, Prop- and trailer making, French Play, ‘Stop Gap’ animation, Circus skills, Christmas cards and decorations, Performance of ‘Hallelujah’, constructing and flying Guatemalan kites, a new music band called ‘Enrich That’, making Christmas biscuits and Pop-up books, reproducing famous Pop Art pieces, writing and recording a radio play, Christmas Pantomime, Movie Maker, Spanish Songs and fabulous creations of ‘ Masks of the World’.
This highly successful event was organized and coordinated by Mrs Bannon and Miss Hawkins. VN
