French Exchange
In the week before Easter holidays a group of 14 Year 10 pupils went to the 16th Arrondissement of Paris for the return leg of this year’s French Exchange. As usual we were extremely well-hosted and highlights of the visit included trips to the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay and Versailles, where the weather was formidable. Some of our excursions were enjoyed with pupils from the Henrietta Barnett school and for the first time in recent memory there were no strikes to hamper our plans. The pupils bonded very well with their correspondents and the first part of every morning was spent discussing the previous night’s culinary delights. CW/SNB
