Gym & Dance

The highly successful event was held on two nights (18 and 19 March) in the Mallinson Sports Centre under the watchful eye of Mrs Rodgers, Head of Girls’ Games and PE. The spectacular entertainment included performances from both Junior and Senior School pupils. All participants and their coaches worked incredibly hard over the course of the Michaelmas and Lent terms to choreograph, rehearse and fine-tune the routines, to select appropriate music and costumes and to create such a wonderful night of entertainment. 

Each pupil put on an amazing performance – whether individual or group number – under the spotlights and received a rapturous applause from the audience of parents, friends and staff members.

The event was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the wealth of talent currently at Highgate School in gymnastics, ballet and dance, as well as singing and presenting. The majority of the performers are members of Gym and Dance clubs (both in and out of school) and the number of pupils wanting to attend such activities is growing every term.
