Inspirational Cricket

Last Friday the 5th of June, the U11A Cricket team held a special training session with the Pakistan World T20 Cricket team as part of a promotion with Emirates Airline, sponsors of the tournament.

The boys were given a great opportunity to watch the Pakistan team train before being put through their paces, with a couple of fielding drills with the Pakistan team coaching staff and players. Obviously the boys had a fantastic time not only having their bats signed, but also having their questions about the game answered by some of the best players in the world. The Australian Cricket team even turned up, and again our boys were able to get a few autographs and meet some of the team.

The boys all went away quite inspired by this new form of the game, managing to win their first game of this season on Monday. MH
