Make a Play Day

Year 5 pupils enjoyed an inspirational, day-long workshop run by the ‘Splats’ Theatre company. The emphasis of this drama experience was to allow the pupils to use their imagination to explore a variety of characters, locations and plots whilst discovering how to be part of creating a unique piece of devised theatre in a short space of time. The pupils enjoyed group-based exercises such as story boards, individual and group versions of The Christmas Carol as well as performing the final product and using pre-fabricated props.  VN
