Victorian Day

On Tuesday 2 February, Year 5 took part in a ‘Victorian School Day’ with themed activities and demonstrations.

The day comprised a number of activities including role-play and improvisation and some source work on Victorian schooling. In addition to this, the children took part in a Victorian lesson. Traditional activities such as the 3 Rs, and games and ‘drill’ of the Victorian era were also explored.

The pupils wore traditional Victorian costumes.
