Wind in the Willows

Parents, siblings and staff alike were transported back in time to the 1920s, to witness the outrageous adventures of the infamous Toad, associated with all things detestable, in the Junior School’s Year 6 rendition of Wind in the Willows. The modernized stage adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s classic allowed for the pupils to put on a performance first of its kind – a ‘menagerie of woodland creatures’ and ‘eccentric humans’ displaying a range of undiscovered talent to the utter amusement of all present.

Fantastic singing, imaginative choreography and visionary directing summarize the production best, which is a credit to all pupils and staff involved; pulling off such an ambitious project to great critical acclaim.

Thanks to Miss Stokes for seeing off Year 6 pupils with such a memorable event. VN
