Y5 Maths Day
A day of fun, learning and investigation run by The Happy Puzzle Company was enjoyed by Year 5 pupils, taking part in a fantastic journey through the world of puzzles and challenges, turning the apparently impossible into a possible solution.
The activities were aimed at improving the pupils’ thinking skills and team skills, whilst boosting their confidence in the process - as well as raising their expectations of what they could potentially achieve in the classroom.

All challenges were linked to a variety of areas across the curriculum and presented in an age-relevant and context-appropriate way for Key Stage 2.
The focus of the workshop was on gradual progression and consolidation of problem-solving skills and not competition. Thanks to Ms Szemerenyi for organising the event. VN
