Year 12 NIMR Visit

A large group of Year 12 pupils visited the National Institute for Medical Research in Mill Hill, London to hear a series of lectures on modern Cell Biology and see an exhibition of various scientific posters including one on ‘How to make a fortune in Biotechnology’.

The pupils were particularly fascinated by the latest research on the understanding of neural networks, plasticity, wiring together of neural networks as the brain grows and what happens if it all goes wrong. JCYW
