Year 3 Art Trip
The enrichment of the current Art unit on ‘Portraiture’ was the focus of the recent Year 3 trip to the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery. The pupils participated in a variety of hands-on workshops aimed primarily at scaling and proportions whilst examining the vast gallery spaces of the aforementioned institutions. The trip served as a starting point to the pupils’ work on Tudor self-portraits. Thanks to Elliot Ryan for organising this educational venture. VN
