We believe that community service starts in the classroom and extends beyond it, requiring pupils to take an active part in the world in which they live. It fosters the pupils’ sense of responsibility and self-esteem while providing an important insight into social patterns and ways of life. We believe we have a moral responsibility to play a full part in the life of the local community, and that our participation can bring benefit not only to that community but also to ourselves and our school community.
