Community Involvement

Many local groups regularly use our facilities, in particular our sports centre: if you’ve seen The Cup, you’ll know how competitive adults can be! Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club uses our pool on Friday evenings, and is training swimmers who are performing at national standards. There were several evening lectures delivered at the school last year which were open to the public. The Head of Physics, David Smith, was a leading light in this area, inviting speakers to talk about a wide range of scientific matters, from the intricacies of the Antikythera mechanism to the promises of the Large Hadron Collider. Further afield, we have had links with the parish of St Mark’s in Dalston since 1897.
