Foundation Office
The Foundation Office lies at the centre of two of the school’s most important activities: its charitable work, and its activities with and on behalf of former pupils, Simon Appleton is the Alumni Officer, and he is the link between the current school and the pupils who have now left us. He develops and oversees the activities we host for our alumni, called Cholmeleians (after Sir Roger Cholmeley, who founded the school in 1565), and is always delighted to be invited to gatherings of alumni. Do contact Simon if you have plans for a reunion or event which you would like the School to host. Events at Highgate for former pupils are coordinated by Vivienne Toulman (020 8347 3549), the Foundation Officer Administrator. Please contact her if you would like to be kept informed about such occasions in the future. The work of Sir Roger Cholmeley’s Charity at Highgate School, and the fundraising to support it, is overseen by the director of the charity, Robert Wilne (020 8347 2102) You are always welcome to contact him if you would like to know more about the current work and the future plans of the charity, or to discuss how to support financially its work.
