Admissions

Highgate School’s Admissions team are here to help you

At Highgate School, we have four entry points for pupils to join: Reception (age 4+), Year 3 (age 7+), Year 7 (age 11+) and Year 12 in the Sixth Form (age 16+). In addition, we sometimes offer occasional places into other selected year groups, depending on pupil numbers.

Across all entry points, there is high demand for the number of places we have available. As an academically selective school, applicants are required to take an assessment or attend an interview.

Please click on the box below for the entry point relevant to your child’s age and find out more about each school’s Admissions process. You can register your interest to join our mailing list, find out how to apply for a place and when you can visit our school open days.

You can find out more about our fees, and the financial “bursaries” that we offer to eligible families who may need support towards funding their child’s independent school education.

Once you’ve read about our Admissions process, if you have any specific questions then please don’t hesitate to contact our Admissions team, or ask our “Admissions chatbot” on the bottom right of your screen.

Good luck – we hope to welcome you to Highgate soon!
