Central Hall
A striking early 19th Century galleried hall, Central Hall features a dramatic hammer beam ceiling, arched doorways, and a decorative wrought iron balcony that runs around a spacious parquet-floored interior.
The Undercroft
Tucked beneath the historic school buildings, The Undercroft is a refined and atmospheric space defined by its Gothic red-brick arches, vaulted ceilings, and stone columns.
Dyne House Auditorium

FAQ
- Do you hire your premises all year round?
Yes – our venues are available to hire throughout the year, subject to school activity. Smaller events such as meetings, workshops, training sessions, concerts, and children’s parties can often be accommodated during term time, while larger events and filming projects are typically best scheduled during weekends or school holidays for greater flexibility.
Please check our term dates on the School website or contact the Commercial Events team at enterprises@highgateschool.org.uk for availability and guidance. - What is the minimum and maximum number that you can host for an event?
Highgate offers a versatile range of spaces suitable for both intimate and large-scale events. We can accommodate small meetings or private dinners for as few as 4 guests, through to receptions, performances, and conferences for up to around 300 attendees, depending on the space and event setup.
- Do all rooms have step free access?
Not all of our Senior School venues are fully accessible; however, all spaces within The Mills Centre and the Junior School offer step-free access throughout. Our team will be happy to advise on the most suitable spaces for your event and any specific accessibility requirements.
- Do you have any parking on site?
Highgate does not have a public car park, however there is limited on-street parking available nearby on roads without restrictions. The School is also very well connected by public transport, with Highgate and Archway stations (Northern Line) just a short walk away, and several local bus routes serving the area.
- Do I need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice for my event?
Only if you plan to sell alcohol during your event.

- Can I bring my own suppliers (Events Producer, Catering, Music Band, Florist etc)?
Absolutely! We will be happy to liaise with your suppliers and assist them as much as we can.
