On Sunday, Highgate School marked the Armistice Centenary by opening our Memorial Gates to host a Civic Remembrance service. We offered prayers for the fallen, observed a 2 minutes’ silence and wreaths were laid by representatives of the armed and uniformed services, our civic and community organisations and representatives of different religious groups in the area.

Our school Remembrance service, held on Friday the 9th, was in memorial of the 228 OCs and former Masters of the school who gave their lives in the First World War. Included are photographs from the ceremony held on our Parade Grounds and in the Chapel Quad.

We will remember them”
