Pre-Prep's Space Adventure!
THE PRE-PREP PERFORMED THEIR SHOW "SPACE ADVENTURE" SHOWCASING WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNT ABOUT SPACE
This term the Nursery and Reception children have been learning about the project ‘Space’. On Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th June they performed their show ‘Space Adventure’. The show included fascinating facts, including, “Earth is sometimes called the Blue Planet or The Goldilocks Planet. This is because it is not too hot and not too cold. It is just right!” and “Groups of stars make shapes and patterns. These are called constellations. The Big Dipper is the one you can see most often in the sky.”
Each class had worked hard to learn their poems off by heart; they all recited them beautifully and even included actions! There were several upbeat songs during the performance including “Blast Off Into Space” and “Does the Man in the Moon Make Music?” The nursery children even did a scarf dance set to the Star Wars theme tune. Many thanks to Mr Smith and Mrs Duggan for such an enjoyable show! SLF
