Every morning this week six of our incredible year 12 pupils have been standing outside the Senior School collecting money for the charity Marie Curie and their Great Daffodil Appeal. The initiative is entirely student led and Henry, Peter, George, Lara, Zoe and Miranda have been doing it since they joined the Senior school in year 7.

Zoe, one of the pupils collecting, says: "We are collecting for Marie Curie because many of our lives have been affected by cancer and Marie Curie is a very worthwhile cause as they ensure that people are as comfortable and happy as possible despite their circumstance. They help 40,000 people a year and provide the largest number of hospice beds aside from the NHS. They also provide incredibly important support to family members and friends. It is a charity that is very close to our hearts and we are proud to be doing our bit to help others in the future."
