On Thursday 20 September, an audience of parents, OCs and friends of Highgate had the pleasure of experiencing ‘An Evening with Nicola Walker’. After introductions from Hugo (13NG), Nicola – an Olivier Award Winning actor, best known for her television roles in Spooks, Unforgotten and The Split – was interviewed by Zoe (13WG). Focusing on creativity and the preconceptions of the creative arts, Nicola spoke insightfully about creativity in schools and the challenge of choosing to pursue a creative career, as well as sharing an insight into some of her most interesting roles and formative experiences as an actor. Nicola then took questions from the audience before conversations were continued over drinks in the Junior School foyer.
This event was organised by the Development Office and was part of Highgate’s series on creativity.
