Our Cholmeleian Society Annual Lunch at the House of Lords, hosted by OC Lord Rupert Redesdale, was attended by 120 OCs and guests on Friday 26 April.
The event began with OCs of all ages mixing over a glass of Champagne in the building’s beautiful reception room, before a three-course meal overlooking the River Thames in the Cholmondeley Room.
Our OC President, Richard Brewster CH 1959, gave a welcome speech before our guest speaker, David Buchler GH 1964, talked humorously about his experiences in football, opera and his fond memories of Highgate.
Ella and Aaron, our current Heads of School, also spoke at the event, before Head Adam Pettitt concluded with a moving speech about our OC community and the symbiotic relationship between OCs and our School. Our OCs then had a chance to take in views from the terrace, while catching up with old friends and exchanging stories with new ones.
