In December, we welcomed over 100 donors and volunteers to Highgate’s Junior School, to celebrate our third annual Benefactors Evening.
Our guests enjoyed an excellent piano recital performed by Highgate pupils, followed by speeches made by Adam Pettitt, the Head, and two students from the London Academy of Excellence, Tottenham. These students, Lamin and Rhea, spoke movingly about their experiences at LAE Tottenham and the effect the school has had on their lives and prospects.
The reception provided a chance to show Highgate’s appreciation for the kind support of donors and volunteers, without whom many of Highgate’s achievements would not be possible. Highgate is an educational charity and donations, gifts of time, careers advice and expertise all make a real difference to Highgate’s success. A M S
