The Occasional Place Enquiry form for 2027 entry is now open. The closing date for enquiries will be first week of February 2027

The main points of entry to Highgate are at 4+, 7+, 11+ and 16+. If a child needs to change schools due to their family circumstances, then we may sometimes offer an occasional place in another year group. Please note that only in very exceptional circumstances will places be offered for Years 2, 6, 11 and 13.  We aim to hold Occasional Place Assessments in March (once it becomes clear if places may be available), and to contact all parents with further information around February half term. Holding an Assessment will depend upon places being available in the required year group. Should we hold an Assessment, we will send you a link to our Application Form and request a registration fee of £210 (or £420 if you are applying from overseas).

The assessments will be for Mathematics and English.  Kindly note the Assessment process may be subject to change.  Successful candidates only will be invited to an interview the following week.
