Highgate Pre-Prep lays strong foundations for children aged 4-7 to become effective, reflective and curious learners

Enabling creativity and curiosity

Highgate Pre-Prep caters for 180 pupils aged 4 to 7, between Reception and Year 2. Passionate and enthusiastic teachers engage the children’s innate sense of curiosity and motivation to develop academic foundations that will last a lifetime. Alongside a commitment to preserving and celebrating childhood, we prioritise outdoor learning, keeping active and enabling creativity and differences to shine.

Located on Bishopswood Road in Highgate, the school offers a light, airy and colourful setting for children to embark on their journeys of exploration and enquiry. School facilities include a large playground, an enchanting forest school setting, a separate Pre-Prep dining hall and use of the school swimming pool and sports facilities. With exceptional pastoral care and an array of co-curricular activities outside of the classroom, Highgate Pre-Prep offers a welcoming and happy environment for children to embark on their educational journey.

My favourite lessons at school are Monster Phonics because I like the Silent Ghost who teaches me words. In Assembly they are teaching us about good manners and I’m also enjoying learning how to swim because it’s fun using the floaties. I go to tennis after school club with some of my classmates and I like hitting the ball to the coach. Outside of school I do gymnastics and can cartwheel on one hand, and I like playing games with my Mummy and Daddy.
