‘You will be taught by the most knowledgeable and passionate subject experts, who will help prepare you for future study and the world of work.’
Guy Waller, Head of Sixth Form (Academic)

‘Around each pupil there is a pastoral team: tutors, Heads of House or Year, counsellors, the Pupil Wellbeing department and Heads of Section. We all work together to create the best possible environment to support young people and enable them to flourish.’
Verity Smith, Assistant Head of Sixth Form (Pastoral)
Mills Centre - Highgate School facilities for design, technology, engineering and art

Highgate Sixth Form offers 30 A level options to around 350 sixth formers. Our small class sizes and opportunities to go beyond the syllabus allow you to build your knowledge and study skills. We provide extensive support for future academic endeavours and careers.

Most teaching takes place on our North Road site, in the heart of Highgate Village. Here Victorian buildings, such as our Chapel, Central Hall classrooms and Sir Martin Gilbert Library, sit alongside modern facilities like our 200-seat auditorium and dedicated recital space, science laboratories, modern language classrooms, and ICT suites.

Lessons in art, design, engineering and technology take place at our Mills Centre, in Bishopswood Road. Nearby you also find our School’s sports facilities and 25 metre indoor swimming pool.
