Entrance Exams - December 2022

The first part of the assessment consists of three tests taken at the school on Monday 5 December 2022. We understand how nervous some pupils will be so we endeavour to make the morning as fun and stress-free as possible.

Interviews - January 2023

A significant proportion of our candidates are invited back for the second stage of assessment: activities and interviews. This consists of a group interview and taster lesson(s). As well as allowing us to get to know your child further, it also enables them to have a taste of school life and to learn more about our School.

Interviews are scheduled for Monday 16 to Friday 20 January 2023.

Offers - February 2023

Our offer letters are posted to successful candidates on 9 February 2023, with an email sent the following day.

Should you be in the fortunate position of holding several offers or would like to ask further questions, there is an  event for children holding offers and their families later in February.

Responses must be received by early March, with a deposit payable on accepting a place. Highgate does make more offers than there are places available, so as swift a response as possible is advised.

Welcoming new parents and pupils - Summer 2023

We understand that moving to secondary school is a major change for pupils and parents.

Our Head of Lower School, Head of Year 7 and team of experienced tutors ensure this transition is as smooth as possible through a variety of events for new pupils and their families in June 2023.

All our Year 7 pupils visit an activity centre for a day of team-building and group activities, to assist with the formation of friendships and getting to know the staff in August 2023, before the start of term.
