Open Afternoon
Saturday 3 October 2020

Our main Saturday Open Day for families looking at 16+ 2021 entry and beyond will take place online on Saturday 3 October 2020, in the afternoon. This will be a great opportunity to view the school site virtually and meet staff and pupils. This event is now full. Please contact the Admissions Office with any queries.

The safety of our pupils, staff and visitors is our priority and, due to the numbers of guests we normally welcome, we are unable to welcome families in person for the Open Event. However, we will do our best to ensure families of children who receive the offer of a place are able to visit before making their decision.

We very much look forward to meeting you as soon as we are able.

Please review our Sixth Form subject choices booklet to decide which courses you would like to study.

Assessment day
Saturday 14 November 2020

All registered applicants will be asked to attend one of two sessions on our assessment day. This year, assessments will take place virtually. You will have interviews in each of the subjects nominated for Sixth Form study, plus a general interview with a senior member of staff. We will send more details about the assessment day to applicants soon, but if you have any possible issue accessing a device with a webcam, please let us know as soon as you can.

We are very sorry we won’t meet applicants “in person” but hope that the virtual interviews will still give you chance to meet the staff and ask any questions you may have.

Successful candidates
Monday 30 November 2020

Our decision letters are sent to all candidates. Responses must be received by Monday 14 December 2020.

Offer Holders' Evening
Thursday 3 December 2020

Our offer holders reception is a chance to meet staff, sixth formers and other prospective sixth formers. You’ll be able to hear from the Head of Sixth Form and ask any questions you may have. Parents are welcome to join us at the end of the session.

Thursday 26 August 2021

Once you have received your GCSE results, these should be sent to our Admissions Office who will confirm your place.

End of Summer term 2021 and prior to the start of Michaelmas term 2021

Induction events take place to help our new sixth formers settle in and find their way around.
