Highgate welcomes around 30 girls and boys into its Year 12 every year from a wide variety of schools and backgrounds. If you would like to come and visit the school to find out about our Sixth Form at Highgate, we would be delighted to see you at one, or both, of our Open Evenings.
The Open Evening for 2019 entry will be held on Monday 24 September with two time slots: 5.30pm and 6.30pm
The event will include a tour of the School and an opportunity to talk to members of staff about the subjects you may be considering for your A Levels. Alternatively you can call the Admissions Office on 020 8347 3564.
The closing date for applications to Highgate’s Sixth Form is 12pm on Friday 12 October 2018.
Our Assessment Day is on Saturday 10 November 2018 and all registered applicants will be asked to attend one of two sessions that day.
The programme will include interviews in each of the subjects nominated for Sixth Form study, and a general interview with a senior member of staff.
To apply, please download and complete the 16+ Application form. This should be mailed with the application fee to the address at the foot of the application form.
Highgate School was founded as a charity by Sir Roger Cholmeley in 1565. Since then we have always given financial support to a number of pupils whom we know will thrive at Highgate but whose families cannot afford the full fees.
Currently there is a range of bursary support available. Some pupils are awarded small bursaries that supplement the significant contribution made by their parents/carers; other pupils are awarded large bursaries that cover most or all of the fees.
SCHOLARSHIPS, EXHIBITIONS AND MUSIC AWARDS
Academic scholarships are honorary and do not bring with them any remission of the school fees. Information on scholarships, exhibitions and music awards can be found here.
