Congratulations to our Cholmeley String Quartet and our Lauderdale String Trio, for their recent success in the Pro Corda’s Chamber Music Festival.
Both Junior School groups performed brilliantly in the semi-finals of this prestigious annual competition, which celebrates musical talent. Our Cholmeley String Quartet got through to the final and were deservedly crowned “Chamber Music Champions” for the Under 12 category.
In addition, in the same competition, Highgate was awarded the coveted Founders Trophy for Outstanding Contribution to School Chamber Music.
Well done to all our chamber music performers and, in particular, to our Cholmeley String Quartet players: Aki, Ryuki, Olivia and Imogen.
