Last term the Pre-Prep children worked with an artist called Rachel Shilston for an art project to mark our 25th Anniversary. Rachel came for an initial visit to our school in the summer term and used this opportunity to get a feel for the Pre-Prep and to look at the children’s mosaic designs, which she then incorporated into her final designs. She then returned for a week of mosaic workshops during the Michaelmas Term.
The children loved seeing their ideas take shape on the mosaics and they all had an opportunity to add tiles to build the pictures. We think that the wonderful mosaic panels Rachel created with our pupils look fantastic attached to the front of our building. We are all very proud of our unique piece of artwork which was created to mark this special event. SF
