On Wednesday 1 May, we welcomed actor, comedian and writer, David Walliams, to speak to parents, OCs and pupils from Highgate and partner schools.
Known for his TV work on shows Little Britain, Come Fly with Me and Britain’s Got Talent, David is also a bestselling children’s author. His books have sold more than 26 million copies worldwide and been translated into over 50 languages.
After an introduction by Gracie and Izzy from Year 12, David took part in a Q&A with adept interviewing by sixth formers, Lochie and Molly. He spoke engagingly and humorously about his charitable work, his writing career and his comedy. The accompanying video clips highlighted the vast scope of his work, and he amused our audience with his comedy oeuvre.
David then answered questions from our packed audience, before signing copies of his books and posing for photographs.
